- Status

This magazine is Freeware. That means that you can copy it freely, and you
don't have to pay me for using it. I retain copyright, however, over all
parts of the magazine that are of my authorship.

- Installation

If you got your copy on a 1.6Mb disc, no problem. You can just double-click
on the !Aliquid2 icon inside the Aliquid2 archive. However, loading of
articles will be much faster if you de-archive it to a hard disc. I would
recommend this if you have enough space (Aliquid Novi 2 takes up 4.5 Mb).

If, on the other hand, you got two 800Kb discs, you can only access the
articles on the first disc unless you install Aliquid Novi 2 on a hard drive.
To do this, copy the contents of the Aliquid2a archive onto your hard disc
(I recommend you create a new directory for this). Then open the Aliquid2b
archive, and copy the !Aliquid2 application into the same directory. The two
applications will merge, creating the full Aliquid Novi magazine. There is a
downside - this takes up 4.5 Mb on your hard disc.

If you want to make use of the inter-magazine links (links between issues
one and two of Aliquid Novi), you must install the !Aliquid2 application in
the same directory as the original issue, !Aliquid.

Aliquid Novi is best viewed if its window takes up the full width of the
screen in a large-screen mode such as Mode 36, which was used throughout
preparation of this issue. Modes 12 and 15 are to be avoided if at all
possible.
