This is one of the most useful pieces of software I have come across for a very long time. Only two applictions are loaded in my boot sequence - Zap and this.

So, what does it do? Well, the answer to that is that it can easily be made to do anything you want to do often (turning an ARM 3+ cache off, for example) through an easy keyboard shortcut. It can also be set up to take screenshots of single tasking programs, and deposit them in your Scrap directory. This, by the way, was how I got all the single tasking programs reviewed in Aliquid Novi to yield up their screenshots.

Its primary purpose, however, is to remove tasks that are stopping your machine from working properly. For example, if you have run a demo, which you discover doesn't quit by just pressing Escape, and, like me, you don't like the idea of SHIFT-BREAK as a way out, simply press ALT-#, which activates TaskKill, and returns you to the desktop. Also, have you ever been working on something, unsaved, for several hours, when your machine suddenly 'hangs'? With TaskKill loaded, ALT-# may solve the problem.

This program really is essential for all Acorn users. I can't recommend it highly enough.
