Official Internation Queen Fan Club News - QFN-21
=============================================================

As always for the few of you not in the Fan Club in London,
here are the main points from the above issue.

The cover of the official Spring 96 magazine has John on the
front cover, and fans photographs on the back.

The Collectors page and Letters page have been postponed
because of lots of pressing news in this issue.

Jacky and Val at the fan club are looking for a 'Tour Guide'
to take out the Queen London Tour Bus. The sucessful
candidate must be lively, talkative and be free every
Friday.

There are spare Hammersmith premiere t-shirt still avalable
- they are black (XL size only) with the 'Made In Heaven'
stamp on the front, and 'I Heard It First' on the back in
white. The price is 6 UK and 7 elsewhere, inclusive of
postage cheques payable to 'Queen Fan Club'. Also send a
label with a return address on.

A Dutch Meeting is planned for 19th October this year, and
Jacky and Val will be taking a coach from the UK. The price
will be around 100 including ferry and accomodation. Write
with an SAE/IRC if interested.

A rare photograph of Freddie is reproduce, taken and owned
by Paul Humberstone who intends to auction a set of 60 rare
photographs from around 1969 this summer at one of the UKs
top auction houses.

A personal letter is written by John, who thanks everyone
who bought the new album and tells us his is currently
involved with looking after his children at home. Apparently
his youngest has had a lot of trouble with his ears this
last Winter. A photograph of John and actor John Hurt is
reproduced too.

Apparently 'Made In Heaven' is Queen's biggest selling
studio album so far at currently 4 time Platinum in th UK,
and has reached the number one position in 14 countries. The
title track was number one in 12 countries.

The British Film Institute are still working on the series
of short films to accompany the Made In Heaven tracks. The
film for Mother Love is set inside a Russian spaceship
where the sole survivor contemplates his fate and recalls
his family back home. The film for To Much Love... is to
be called Heart Ache (not Songs Are Like Tatoos as
previously reported). The film for You Dont Fool Me is
based on the concept of androgyny, where a person looks
little male and a little female. The film for I Was Born To
Love You was shot mainly in slow motion in black and white
on a city housing estate. Let Me Live is being shot in
Spain and is called Return Trip. The short films (not
videos) are likely to be released for showing in theatres,
and at film festivals. It is not yet know if they will be
commercially released on home video.

It has been proposed that the Freddie statue is to be sited
in Montreux, Switerland to continue the Made In Heaven
album cover theme. (There was a petiton being signed at the
Convention by fans against this site - Ed.)

The are plans for a Freddie Mercury photographic exhibition,
to raise funds for the Mercury Phoenix Trust. It will open
in London and then tour the UK.

John was sent 50 questions by Jacky at the fan club from
fans. Johns answers are printed along with the questions
and I think its fair to say John really isnt an
interesting man. Many of the questions were answered with a
simple No, Cant remember, or No idea!. I look forward
to Brians considered answers in a future issue, as Jacky
has requested fans send her the question they would most
like Brian to answer.
