After the excellent 'Skin up EP' and 'House of love' singles and
the not so good but still worth it 'Money EP' Britons new Rock
darlings release their debut album. This album is very blues/rock, it
is heavily influenced by bands like Bad Company etc. The album
contains every element which has made rock such a colourful and
interesting style of music, it contains ballads, guitars, rough
voices and even a very (very) small amount of Bon Jovi-ish party
rock. The songs are extremely well written (most of which are by
guitarist Myke Gray), with its bargain price (but by the time you
read this it might have been put up to the normal 10.99, but still
look around in the independents for it at its low price) it is a must
for anybody who is (a) sick of the amount of rave or (b) mourning the
sad loss of the last British hopefuls, the Little Angels. If Skins
live performance is anything to go on then this is the band to watch
in coming years.
