Sensible Soccer - Renegade
{fon:tri}

Computers have always found it hard to recreate things, like being
able to have emotions, being able to perform complex medical
operations and simulating a decent game of football. That is until
now, Sensible first surfaced on the 16 bits a couple of years ago, now
thanks to Renegade the Arch now has a decent football game, in
Sensible Soccer it is possible to play just as you would in real
life, even produce shots like Pele. You would expect this to be at
the cost of speed right? Wrong the game is very fast, one reason for
this is because the graphics like in Lemmings are small, but don't
let this put you off as the are very well animated. If you get bored
playing friendlies then why not try a competition, as there are a
number of Leagues and Cups you can enter. If you get bored with these
then you can load the custom teams, yet more Leagues and Cups, but
this time the teams are made up. For example you can have the 1966
world cup final, in glorious black and white (we are PC really)! The
sound is superb with the crowd cheering when you score, whistling
when you are winning, the famous 'you reds' chants and when you hit
the wood you get a big 'oooooooohhhhhhhhh'. The only problem with
this game is that it does take some practise to do some of the more
advanced shots, but then that's part of being a footballer.
