Revelation! - Buzz
{fon:tri}

In true Spectrum style we bring you yet more revelations. However,
the Revelation in this case is one of the new games from the Buzz
budget label. Well, at least it's new to them, for it was released
as part of a Krisalis compilation pack some time ago. Still, those
who did not purchase it the first time can now purchase this game,
and many others for the paltry sum of 9.99.

Revelation involves the unlocking of safes to get the treasures
inside them. You control the hand that turns the handles on the
safes, matching up colours to turn adjacent locks. When you have all
of the knobs in the right combinations, the pins drop, and the door
unlocks. You then have time, depending on how long it took you to
get in, to open a selection of further doors, and collect bonuses.
Furthermore, when turning locks, objects may appear that can picked
up and used to your advantage, such as a padlock to hold a knob, so
that it does not turn - useful if you have got one pin down. Other
pickups include extra time, and bends (road sign!), to help stop the
alarm going off. There is a two player option, and also passwords
can be entered to avoid all those easy first levels.

The overall presentation was very appealing and, despite only being
in 16 colours, the graphics were quite adequate. The music is
catchy, and the programming appears to be very professional, as to be
expected from Nigel Little, author of Lotus Turbo Challenge 2.

I would recommend this game, not only on it's price, but also it's
addictive qualities, that will make me come back to it today, next
week, next century (probably).
