Connect4
{fon:tri}
Archimedes Conversion by: Les Hurst

Plot: It's the game of Connect 4. If you don't know how to play it
I'm not going to explain it here. It looks like it's a quick
conversion from a BBC program.

Playability: The computer algorithm is very strong and fast. I
haven't managed to determine whether it is beatable or not.

Graphics: Very poor. BBC Mode 7 chunky graphics.

Features: None

Typical Game Duration: 3 minutes

Plot: It's the game of Connect 4. If you don't know how to play it
I'm not going to explain it here. However, in this program, you can
vary the size of the board and the number of pieces in a row to win.

Playability: The computer algorithm is very weak and also not very
fast. In fact it almost looks as if it is trying to lose, for
example, if you play the 'obvious' opening to the default game (first
piece in the centre, next piece adjacent to it) it doesn't block you,
and you can simply complete the horizontal line of four.

Graphics: Poor.

Features: Either player can be human or computer.

Typical Game Duration: 1 minute.

Creepie

Author: Mark Johnson

Plot: It's a traditional snake game (as the game progresses the tail
gets longer, you have to avoid hitting the mushrooms, your own tail,
and the edges of the box, while collecting the goodies)

Playability: It's quite a reasonable snake game. I would advise ARM3
owners to set CACHE OFF.

Graphics: Nothing special.

Features: None

Typical Game Duration: 3 minutes

Cribbage
{fon:tri}
Author: P. B. Fairbrother

Plot: The card game.

Playability: The rules used here are slightly different from the version of
cribbage that I'm used to. The computer plays a decent game.

Graphics: OK

Features: Optionally displays the reasons for the scores (Play & Learn mode)

Typical Game Duration: 3 minutes

Plot: Like Tetris, things fall from the top and pile up at the bottom. In
this case the things are all the same shape, but consist of three squares of
different colours. Three squares of the same colour in a straight line are
removed from the heap at the bottom.

Playability: Too easy. The difficulty doesn't increase. A decent Tetris
player can keep playing indefinitely.

Graphics: Mediocre

Features: Multitasks.

Typical Game Duration: As long as you like, until you get bored.
