AcidPac
{fon:tri}
Author: Aaron Timbrell

Plot: This game is a standard Pacman game except that the PacMan
himself is an "Acid" smiley, the "ghosts" are replaced by policemen,
and the power pills are tabs of E.

Playability: The game is quite challenging. I would advise ARM3
owners to set CACHE OFF, otherwise the difficulty level is rather
extreme. After the first few levels the speed builds up to a point
where it becomes rather too difficult for my taste.

Graphics: Simple, but effective, a bit flickery.

Features: Pause. High score table (not saved to disk).

Typical Game Duration: 4 minutes

Adventure
{fon:tri}
(also known as Colossal Cave)
Archimedes Conversion by: Ray Loades-Bannon

Plot: This is THE original text adventure game. This is why adventure
games are called "adventure" games.

Playability: Despite it's age, it still compares well to more recent
PD text adventures. The parser is a bit primitive. It only
understands commands in the format VERB OBJECT. The puzzles vary in
difficulty. The most inept adventurer should be able to solve some
puzzles, yet the problem of bringing light to the Dark Room will
challenge sophisticated players.

Features: Save game

Typical Game Duration: Months

AirDuel
{fon:tri}
Author: Liam Corner

Plot: A two player game. Each player has a biplane and attempts to
get behind the other player and shoot them. This game is remarkably
similar to the game that was included with the original Atari games
console.

Playability: I wasn't impressed.

Graphics: Simple vector graphics. I wasn't impressed.

Features: None

Typical Game Duration: 2 minutes

A-Maze
{fon:tri}
Author: A. B. Christie

Plot: There is a sort of maze, built from an array of tiles like a
sliding block puzzle. At each move, the player alters the structure
of the maze, and then moves through it. The object is to collect six
treasures.

Playability: Playing this game as one human against the computer,
it's a fairly challenging puzzle. The computer's move algorithm is
quite good, but occasionally you can trap it in a dead end and get it
to repeat the same useless moves.

Graphics: OK.

Features: Various features of the game can be changed. There can be
up to 4 players, two of whom can be human.

Typical Game Duration: 3 minutes

ArcBall
{fon:tri}
Author: Keith McAlpine

Plot: A fairly straight forward mouse-controlled breakout game. There
are 5 randomly appearing tokens which can give extra lives, fast
ball, slow ball, catch or break out to the next level.

Playability: Getting the ball behind the invulnerable bricks can be
rather tedious on some screens. Apart from that it's not too bad.

Graphics: OK

Features: Screen editor.

Typical Game Duration: 3 minutes

Bugs: On exit from the game, the mouse will only move in the
horizontal direction - making the desktop unusable until you reboot.
