She turned her console round and punched up Dr Lamberts'
details.  Certainly a meteoric career rise.  Such a shame
it had to come to such an abrupt end.  But then, that was
life.  She had much more important things to think about.
Like where she would spend her next holiday, for instance.
This tiresome business would not take long . . .

Roberts heard a knock on the door and replied to it.  No
response.  Strange.  She thought she had heard something.
Must have been mistaken.  She shivered.  There did seem to
be a draft in here all of a sudden.


As Kay came level with the next Comm panel she stopped and
took her bearings.  Still two levels down from section C.
Her stomach made it very clear to her how it was feeling.
Not far to go now.  She was just about to push off from
the handrail when she noticed the amber light flashing
next to Comm.  Touching the panel, she heard frantic
voices talking inter-ship. "Where's it coming from?"
"Unknown.  I'm just checking now." Silence followed,
except for voices in the distance. Kay broke the silence.
