of checking up on amounts of fuel or rockets left, certain
aspects of the game are very annoying. Current trends in
aircraft avionics certainly are towards more electronic
displays, but not just less avionics as in Chopper Force.

The graphics in the game are very Chocks Away like, (in
fact the same plot routines were probably used) and
although they better some of the Amiga vector graphics,
they certainly don't push the Archie to its limits. As in
Chocks there are plenty of views however, but a missile
view would have been nice (I don't think there's one).
Several nice touches like scrolling messages, sheep (!?! -
try shooting them!!!!) and the way the crate you just
picked up trails behind you as you fly at speed, add to
the game, but more could have been implemented really.

So playability is on the whole pretty good, with quite
varied missions, with things like picking up crates with a
rope, landing on sky scrapers, and escorting ministers in
cars. The level of difficulty increases steadily after a
very simple mission 1, but too much time seems to be spent
flying from A to B with no speed up feature as in Chocks.

As I've already mentioned the realism factor isn't too
high, and Chopper Force simply can't be compared with the
accuracy and sound effects of Gunship 2000 on the PC.
