release it!), Starglider II's graphics are far too slow
and not detailed enough to satisfy the average Arc user
who is used to high-quality 3D games such as Tower of
Babel, Black Angel, Zarch. I have only briefly seen
Aldebarren from Arc Angels, but I could not believe the
speed of its 3D graphics - on an Arm 2!!!
    
    If you look at the wonderful graphics that accompany
Boogie Buggy, you see what can be achieved in 256 colour
modes, you see what the Arc is capable of, if you look at
the detail in the large ships of the fleet you are
defending in Provocator from CTS; the simple but perfect
graphics of Inertia and Cataclysm the list of graphics
worthy of the Arc goes on and on.
    
    However there is also a list of games in which the
graphics are less than perfect. If you look at the
game-boy-like graphics of Grevious Bodily Arm, look at
older games such as Repton III, Pysanki, Man at Arms, No
Excuses and so on. Now people might argue that some of
those games were released a while ago, yet since when have
graphics on the Amiga been poor - look at older Amiga
games, such as Nebulous, Guild of Thieves, even Dungeon
Master features detailed graphics.
