Patterns are easily put together to form a song by
entering pattern numbers into a sequencing window.
Although this is confusing at first, it is easy to master
after a short time. The speed at which the patterns run is
also easily altered but you are unable to change the speed
during one cycle of a pattern. This is not essential but
is useful for the more advanced user, who wants to slow

Volume, stereo position and length are easily
implemented by clicking on an array of clear icons at the
side of the main window. But the full range of effects,
normally available in other packages, are not supported. A
smoothing option is poor substitute for the full pitch

the Serial Port's Tracker and Coconizer, Ultrasonic only
supports 4 channel sound, but does support a midi
interface (input only). The music is saved as samples and
the music patterns themselves seperately. This has
advantages and disadvantages but we tend to find Tracker
format easier to handle.

drawback of this package is the number of windows that you
need to have open at any one time, making it laborious
when using it for long periods. Also, a number of RiscOS
