   Once you've got the samples you want, the next step is
obviously going to be listening to them, but this is often
not that easy! DSEdit, the public domain utility, will
play Rawsound and most linear samples (it will actually
play any file you load into it, but this usually sounds
like a radio being tuned in).

   Armadeus files will have to be either converted, or
used with some of Clare's software like VoxBox or the
Armadeus software itself.

   Alpine Software's "Sound" format can only be heard with
their software, but this is ideal for manipulating sounds
or playing them back in a game or demo context, using the
SoundEXT module. Details of this software are given below.

   Finally, the Relocatable Module format, is the easiest
to hear, as the data is stored in a form which can be sent
straight to the VIDC chip and then to the speaker of your
