   Sound samples are available from many sources including
from a sound sampler. Sound samplers effectively give you
an unlimited source of sound effects, but can cost
anything from 30 to 200, with the more you pay, the
better the quality of the sounds you can sample. Sounds
are also available from Public domain libraries, and most
have a good selection to choose from. Sound Trackers are
another good source of samples (you will need a sound
ripping utility available from many PD libraries) Finally,
