is simply because there is a lot of good music (in the
form of sound trackers), sound samples , and graphics
(which can be converted with !Translator) available. I
mean lets face it, there are a lot more Amigas out there
then there are Archies, and there's a lot more PD on the
Amiga.

To give an example of converting data like this : All
the music in this magazine was produced on Noise Tracker
on an Amiga (EXEL prefers this over the Archie software
I've got) and then written to a DOS disk. I then
catalogued the DOS disk with !PCDir on my Archie, dragged
it to my hard disk, filetyped it correctly and then
listened to it with Hugo Fiennes's player.

On the Amiga :

EXEL uses the exellent "Messy Sid" (don't ask!) to copy
Amiga files to a PC DOS formatted disk.
Messy Sid is available from NBS PD. (Disk *****)
