----------------------------------------------

What you've got here is a puzzle game.
Push the boxes onto the crosses which someone's drawn on
the floor.
Remember that you can't push a box if there's something
solid on the other side of it.

Controls on the menu screen(s) are:-

CURSOR up/down to choose an item.
RETURN (or SPACE) to select it.
(ESC also quits to Risc Os)

In the game:-
CURSOR keys to move around & push things.
Stop pressing cursor keys for pause (!)
ESC abandons the level to retry/quit altogether.

There's only 25 levels here, there'll be more in
Pushy II!

-If you think the early levels are way too easy,
you're right. This is a kids game after all, BUT:
Keep going: the last few levels are evil!

EVERY level (including 25) is possible with
time to spare. I know. I've checked.

My high score during testing: 13543
(should be beatable fairly easily)
----------------------------------------------
Compatability:
Pushy was written & tested on an A3000, RiscOs 3
It should be AOK on RiscOs 2, though I've not checked
It also runs OK-ish on a Risc PC. Two problems:-
  (1) The old TV modes are displayed in "letterbox-o-vision"
  (2) The 50Hz refresh isn't 50Hz any more, so everything
     moves too quickly.
  - Solution? Use GameOn...
-OR, wait for Pushy2, which'll be properly compatable.

Plot: (for those who insist on them)

The future of purple-blobby-kind is in your hands!

Dangerous radioactive packing cases have been carelessly
dumped on the floor of the warehouse (the purple blobby
creatures all live in the roof, you see)
The radiation leaks can be halted by pushing the cases
onto the... err... IntelliNeutralizerQuarks, which -to
the ignorant anyway- may look like chalked crosses on the
floor, but are in fact sophisticated electronic lumps of
widgetry.
Shift all the cases and you will have saved the lives of
countless purple blobby things, and will be rewarded with...
with... a text message, a high score, and severe radiation
burns. Um.
 The end.

This program is FREEWARE

By which I mean...
Anyone can take a copy of it.
Anyone can give it to anyone else.
They can even charge for the disk and the postage!

----------------------------------------------

If you mod the code (even just the !Run...):-
(a) Make a note here so's anyone who gets a copy from
then on knows about it.
(b) Let me know, so future versions (and future products) can
work without needing to be modded.

This software is provided 'as is'. Using it is entirely at
your own risk.

Don't go changing things and try to pass it off as your
own work. It's not big, or indeed clever.
