!Help file for !SimEdit, written a little while
after the original program, on 31st August 1993.
Adapted from slightly shorter version (!!!) as sent
to Archimedes World (September 1993) for all those
who were watching and can't spell my name right!

This program allows the editing of SimCity files.
This may seem like a contradiction, but listen on...

When run you are prompted to enter a filename. This
should be the name of the SimCity file you wish to
edit (logical, really). No blank file is provided as
you can use SimCity to make one, and if you haven't
got SimCity what use is this program?? The file is
then scanned in for editing. The three boxes on the
right can be clicked on to give land (red) sea
(blue) or forest (green). Click on the map to edit.
Sorry but I haven't worked out how to do coast or
the edge of forests yet. Click on the name of the
city at the top of the screen to change this, or
similarly with the amount of cash. There is a
logical limit (otherwise it goes negative), but I
won't tell you what it is. Just don't be greedy.
Press the right mouse button at any time to finish.
Pressing escape is not recommended except in
emergencies as it will do yoour file no good
whatsoever.

You can set up the variable <SimFiles$Dir> in !Boot.

If you make any improvements to the file please
pass them back to me;
