                              Arc version by James Farmer

The Bungle Brothers is a text adventure game that was originally programmed
by a person unknown on the BBC. I have now converted it to the Arc in order
to test some routines I have written before they are used in a larger game.

The Bungle Brothers is only a short game with about 30 locations and about
five puzzles; this makes it perfect for the beginner to adventuring; you
can cut your teeth on this, then try something larger.

For those who don't know, an adventure game describes your surroundings to
you in words, and you have to respond by telling the computer what to do.
You move around by typing in directions, usually NORTH, SOUTH, EAST, WEST,
UP, and DOWN (which can be abbreviated to N,S,E,W,U,D). Objects can be
picked up and dropped with the commands GET and DROP (for eg, GET COFFEE,
DROP AXE), and looked at more closely by typing EXAMINE (eg EXAMINE KEY).
Other useful commands are READ, PUSH, KILL, PULL, MOVE, and HELP. However,
there will often be others!

The Bungle Brother's parser (the bit that deals with what you type in) is
moderately advanced; commands like GET ALL and DROP ALL are understood, and
multiple commands can be entered on one line if they are separated by commas.

Good Luck (you'll need it!) !
