material available from the St Albans Abbey Education 
Centre is extensive and excellent in quality and
content.

CHARTRES : The Cathedral and the Old Town (if you get a
chance VISIT THIS CATHEDRAL - I'll probably annoy
somebody by saying this, but, there is a very real sense
of spirituality at Chartres that I have difficulty
finding in a lot of our English cathedrals. Continuity
of use helps ! - Chartres comes across not as a museum
piece, but as a very living cathedral !
