Target allows you to set the
destination different from the
source.

This is rarely needed as it
is faster and usually more
convenient to to compress
in situ. However on occasions
you will want to compress to
or from a floppy, this is when
you set the target.

By selecting the target on the
menu or the monitor a save type
box containing a target will pop
up. Drag this to the filer window
where you want the output to be
directed.

The filer window can be a cfs#
or a normal window the process
is controlled by the state of the
CFSCopier. That is of course
assuming you drag the object to
be acted opoun to the CFSCopier
icon on the icon bar and not directly
to the output window!!

Dragging the object to the window
is an easy mistake when using
the target facility especially
if you have been using naked cfs#.
In fact in many respects the target
facility is harder to use than the
normal cfs# when the destination
is different from the source.

However normal cfs# will
not provide the exclude features
provided by the CFSCopier.

The CFSCopier is much easier to
use than normal cfs# when objects
are to packed or un packed in situ.

To set a ne target toggle the target
menu tick off and on or select the
target button again. To switch off
a target just switch off the tick
on the menu.
