                            ----------------

This application installs itself as a resident Wimp module and shows the
currently available free application memory. It uses the iconbar priority
system RISC OS 3 (+) provides. The palette utility has &20000000, FreeMemo
uses &10000000 and normal application 0 (onwards).
For the display a ROM outline font is used (great stuff from Acorn), hence
it's only readable on high resolution monitors. But as serious user you
certainly have got one anyway. Please ensure to have anti-aliasing enabled.
Well, you don't have a Mac, PC or another toy computer.

[ Of course the module doesn't waste the Wimp's polling time with null
events, it wakes up and becomes active when memory moving messages fly
around. ]

The parameter "Off" in the line "Run !RunImage Off" of the !Run file will
switch off DRAM refresh during video flyback. This works with all high
resolution displays and speeds up the machine (a little bit.. :)
As broadcast standard displays have longer flyback times, the extra DRAM
refresh must be provided to retain DRAM integrity (ie no parameter, menu
item "Refresh" ticked).
