                   Version 1.02 - Final Release

NOTE:
This program has been written with ARM-3 (or above)
computers in mind, but may be run on all Archimedes.
If SPACE is held down while the program is running, the
spectral display will be suspended, raising the refresh rate
to maximum, even on ARM-2 based systems.

!ShowTrack incorporates the functions of an oscilloscope
and a 64 band spectrum analyser, and operates on four channels
simultaneously. It works on all background music makers, (eg.
Tracker, Pro-Tracker, MusicModule2, etc.) Note that it will
work no matter how many channels the music is using, so will
work on Armadeus, Maestro, even Speech!

To operate, initiate a background music maker (Tracker,
etc) with some favourite tune AND THEN run !ShowTrack by
double clicking its icon.

Alternatively, if no background scheduler is in operation,
when !ShowTrack is run the keyboard may be used to generate
notes which are automatically analysed by the program. The
pitch of the note generated is proportional to the ASCII
value of the key pressed and played with the voice assigned
to sound channel 1.

On ARM-3 machines !ShowTrack should run at the full 50
frames per second. (ARM-2 manages 16-25 fps.) The frame rate
is reflected in the forground colour, which moves from white
to red as the frame rate decreases. White=50fps, Yellow=25fps,
then pink through red indicates 16fps and lower.

This program is PUBLIC DOMAIN, so please share it with
friends, post on BBS's, etc. but please, PLEASE leave my
name on it!!! If you decide to use some of the code in your
own work, please give some credit to the original author!
