This is RayPaint, an experimental application supplied
with RayShade V4. I've adapted it for the Archimedes
desktop with minimal support.

Currently the parameters passed to the raytracer are set
to -R 320 256; I've no intention of enhancing this
unless there's a large demand.

RayPaint is an interesting variant of RayShade because
it displays a full picture with increasing resolution.
Unfortunately, it consumes a lot of memory (in excess
of 1Mbyte) and takes far longer than Rayshade itself.

Clicking with Select inside the display window makes the
raytracer focus on that area; clicking with Adjust
causes the raytracer to supersample in that area.
