Cretin
by George Saliaris

Note: Cretin needs to be copied to a writable medium - such as your hard disc
- before being run. The game will not run from the archive in which it is
supplied - decompression is essential.

With a soundtrack that is sure to drive you mad, and a very impressive
scrolling background, Cretin is an excellent implementation of one of the
most popular computer games ever written, and for the first time is now
StrongARM compatible.

The aim of the game is very simple. Blocks are falling into a container. You
have to ensure that the container is never filled. You do this by filling
horizontal rows across the container. As each row is completed, it
disappears, and any rows above it drop into the empty row, thus creating
space at the top of the container for more blocks. The blocks can be
positioned while falling, either by moving them left or right, or by rotating
them in either direction.

Cretin is played using the following keys on the numeric keypad:

Control keys

Space Start the game
4 Move left

5 Rotate anti-clockwise
2 Drop block

To disable the music, press F12 before you run the game, and type
*Audio off at the command line. When you have returned to the
Desktop, press F12 and type *Audio on to restore the computer's
sound.
