PointView
by Daniel Barron - freeware

This application fades the mouse colour from one user-definable colour to
another user-definable colour in order to make the mouse pointer more
visible: no more 'where's-the-pointer' annoyances in those large Risc PC
screen modes.

PointView's main advantages over the free PointFade provided with RISC OS are
that it uses less memory and processor time, as well as:

It tells you the amount of spare RAM you have left
    It tells you the time
    It provides an unlock-at-boot utility
    It provides a lock-at-any-time utility

PointView Instructions
----------------------
The program fades the pointer from one colour to another. To select the two
colours click Select on the icon bar PointView icon to open a window with two
colour boxes. To change a colour click Select on it and the standard colour
picker window will open. For information on how to use this (if you can't
work it out) see your user guide page 87 - 'Using colour in applications'.

When you have selected the two colours press 'Set' to set the configuration.
If you want to save this as the default, press 'Save'; this also has the same
effect as 'Set'. If you decide you want the default settings, then press
'Default'. If you want to cancel any changes, press 'Cancel'.

To access the unlock-computer utility click Adjust on the PointView icon bar
icon. This useful feature is the Risc PC password window to unlock the
computer so you don't need to go to configure to unlock it. The window only
opens automatically when the computer has just been turned on or reset - eg
if loaded in the boot sequence. It also will only open automatically if the
computer is already locked. The window, when opened, always automatically
gets the input focus.

More Advanced Instructions
--------------------------
In the main window there are a number of more advanced options which are
normally hidden from view. To view these instructions you click with select
on the toggle size icon at the top right of the window. There are a number of
options including changing the speed of change of colour of the mouse and
which bits of the mouse change and in which way. Use is fairly self
explanatory. The 'Default', 'Save', 'Cancel' and 'Set' keys work in a similar
way as for selecting colours for these options.
