TemPluck - Template extraction utility

by Richard Amy

This program enables individual template definitions to be extracted from an existing template file and saved in a new template file. If this new template file uses anti-aliased text in any of its templates, then the font table details will also be copied.

Load the TemPluck application by double-clicking on its icon in a Filer window or by clicking on its icon in the RISC User Menu system. Then load the template file which contains the template(s) you wish to copy by dragging it to the TemPluck icon or window. You can copy templates from more than one file simply by dragging another template file to the TemPluck icon.

Use the Copy option from TemPluck's icon bar menu to select the templates you want to copy. This will add them to the list of template definitions in the TemPluck window. When you have selected all the templates that you wish to copy, you can save them as normal, using the Save option from the icon bar menu.

You should remember that you will need to copy any custom sprites from the source application to your own sprite file. This can be done easily by using Paint.

Be careful not to overwrite the original source template files by dragging your new template file to the directory containing it!
