Force Stamp

by RISC User

The timestamping feature in RISC OS is extremely useful: it allows you to determine when files were last modified. However, RISC OS provides no facility for specifying a specific (or uniform) timestamp for one or more files without a lot of fiddling with the system clock.

Force Stamp makes this possible. Run the application, and then drag a file or directory onto its icon bar icon. Change the time and date details with the Alarm-style bump arrows, and click Stamp to stamp the files. Directories may be stamped recursively by selecting the Recurse option at the bottom of the Force Stamp window.
