CLIPrompt - Command prompt information

by Richard C Lewis

CLIPrompt is a useful little utility which allows you to customise the RISC OS command prompt, displayed when you press F12, so that it displays information such as the current directory name or the time.

By default, CLIPrompt provides a prompt which shows the path to the currently selected directory. Note: If, when you press F12, all you see is ADFS >, then the currently selected directory is unset. To set it, type dir at the command prompt.

An command CLIPrompt is also provided so that you can customise the CLI prompt further, for example to display the date, time, etc.

To set CLIPrompt to display the directory name and date, type:

*CLIPrompt <Sys$Date>
