Internet Files - Useful resources for Netters

This item consists of a couple of files containing useful information for those who are accessing or are considering accessing the Internet. The files cover frequently asked questions about accessing the Internet using Acorn computers, and about using Acorn computers generally.

Running the item from the RISC User menu system opens an archive containing two text files. These can be read by loading them into any text editor, or into a DTP package for layout and formatting if required.

AccessFAQ is a list of FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) about accessing the Internet using an Acorn computer. It is maintained and posted to the Internet on a regular basis by Kevin Quinn, and we are grateful for permission to reproduce it on this disc.

AcornFAQ is a list of commonly asked questions on the comp.sys.acorn newsgroups about Acorn computers. It is primarily intended for Internet users so that new users do not have to repeatedly ask questions which have cropped up many times before. However, the information covered is general and the file is useful for all Acorn or potential Acorn users as it contains many useful hints and tips. It is maintained by Philip Banks, and again we are grateful for permission to reproduce it.
