TimeSet - Simple time setter

by Rolf Herschel

Setting the clock on your computer using the command line or from Basic is a fiddle. The only other way to set the time is to load up the Alarm application, but that requires a sizeable chunk of RAM and an icon bar icon. What you really need is a little application that does the job quickly and without fuss.

TimeSet is designed to do that job for you. Running it opens a window on the desktop from which you can easily set the desired time and then click on an icon to make the change permanent.

TimeSet is run in the usual way by double-clicking on its icon in a directory viewer. A small window is opened, showing the time and date with each element in its own separate icon, with a pair of arrow icons underneath each one. You can alter the values by using the arrow icons to cycle through the acceptable values. When you have set the required time, click on Set time and the change will be made permanent. Clicking Cancel at any time will reset the display in the window to the current time.
