Robotix

by Gary Lee

In the thrilling arcade game Robotix, you are the bespectacled professor who has to rescue the other humans from an arena infested by murderous alien robots. You can kill the robots by shooting them with your eight-direction gun. Some of the robots, such as the Grunts can be lured on to Electrodes.

Default Keys

	Start Game - Return
Quit to Desktop	- Ctrl Escape
	Movement - Mouse
	Firing - Cursor Keys
	Pause - P
	Unpause - P
	Quit - Escape

	Redefine Keys	- R

When you redefine the keys, you will be given the oppurtunity to use the mouse for firing, movement or both. You may find it easier to begin with if you define the firing and movement keys to be the same, but to do well in the game, it is best to separate them.

The Game
The object is to score as high a score as possible by shooting the aliens, defending the Humanoids and staying alive. Watch out for the following aliens:

	Indestructible Hulks	-
	Spheroids 1000 points
	Enforcers 150 points

	Tanks 250 points
	Tank shots -
	Brains 500 points
	Progs 150 points
	Cruise Missiles 25 points

You start with 3 lives and get an extra one every 25,000 points.

Note: If you are running this program from floppy and wish the all-time high scores to be saved back to disc, leave it write-enabled.
