Desktop Module Manager

by Alex Hayward

The Module Manager is designed to assist with the management of both software loaded modules and modules held in ROM. A list of all modules currently running is available by clicking on the Module Manager icon. This gives the module number, module address, module workspace address, module size, where the module is running from (ROM, RMA or application space), its version (from the help string), SWI chunk base and prefix and finally the module title. Clicking menu over a module allows you to enter it as a language, reinitialise it, RMKill it or copy it into the RMA (when it is running from ROM) in a similar way to the RMFaster command.

Selecting ROM Modules from the icon bar menu gives a list of all modules currently held in ROM (Sys ROM), Extension ROM (Ext ROM) and in expansion cards (Podules). Also given are their versions and statuses (active, dormant, running or unplugged). Menu options are then available to reinitialise, RMKill, copy into the RMA (RMFaster), RMInsert (opposite of Unplug) and Unplug.
