Tri The game of triangles

by Geoff Scott

The aim of playing Tri is to rearrange the positions and orientations of
nine triangles, each with differently colourd edges, so that each edge
matches the edge of another triangle, according to the colour key at the top
left of the window. The pieces can be rotated so each edge may touch any
other edge, and any two pieces may be swapped over. The program will watch the
board, and let you know when you have completed the puzzle.

The main game window
The nine game pieces are shown here, each with their three coloured bands. To
rotate a piece click within it using the Select button. To swap any two
triangles, click using Adjust in the first triangle, and then again inside the
second piece. Pieces can be rotated even while one piece is selected for
exchange. As a reminder, the three colour pairs are displayed towards the
top of the window.

Menu options
There is a menu available in the main window with two options. To scramble
the board randomly, bring the game menu up by clicking Menu over the game
window and select New game. The current game can be saved in the normal way using the menu's Save option.
