Draw File Merger

by R Williams

DrawMerge will prove an excellent addition to your CAD utilities
directory. It is a very simple application that merges the contents of two
Draw files into a single file, with the various objects in the new file
retaining their original positions on the page.

Double-click on the DrawMerge application in a Filer window, or click on
it in the RISC User menu system to open the directory containing the
DrawMerge application and two example files.

Using DrawMerge
Load DrawMerge by double-clicking on its icon in a Filer window. The
DrawMerge options window opens where the path names of the Draw files to
merge must be entered. This can be done by typing complete path names, or
dragging the required files to the dialogue box. A Save as box will be
opened if both path names are specified via dragging, otherwise click Menu
over the window and choose the Save option. The merged Draw file must
first be saved to disc before being used further.
