Jello and the Art of 3D Graphics: Part 4
by Mark Moxon

NOTE: Running this application will give an error as, to save disc space, the code has not been compiled. The source code from last month is provided on this disc, so the application can be compiled as follows.

To compile the application, copy the !Jello directory to another disc. Then open the directory !Jello.SourceCode by double-clicking on '!Jello' while holding down Shift, and then double-clicking on 'SourceCode'. Next, double-click on '!MakeMaths' to create the file !Jello.SourceCode.MathsData, and finally, double-click on '!Compile' to create the file !Jello.!RunImage. The application is now compiled.

Running the compiled Jello application displays a three dimensional icosahedron, made of jelly, inside a see-through cube. The icosahedron and cube can be rotated by moving the mouse, and the application can be exited by pressing Escape.

The source code for the application is in !Jello.SourceCode, and each of the programs contains copious comments. A text file called JelloHelp is also included in !Jello.SourceCode to give an overview of the program structure.
