Wimp Function/Procedure Library Part 3
by Mark Moxon

This application demonstrates the third instalment of the Wimp Function/Procedure Library, which deals with the creation of menus. Running the application puts an icon on the icon bar, and clicking Menu over this icon brings up a menu containing the following entries:

"Tick" toggles a tick when chosen.

"Dot" is followed by a dotted line - choosing the item emits a high beep.

"Shade" is a shaded item and cannot be chosen.

"Submenu" leads to a submenu. Moving over the submenu arrow emits a medium beep, and choosing the "Beep" option from the submenu emits a low beep.

"Quit" removes the application from the icon bar when chosen.

Note that choosing items with Adjust leaves the menu displayed, as expected.

The complete Wimp library (up to and including this month) can be found in the Basic library program !WimpLib.WimpLib. For details on how the routines work and how to use the Wimp library, see this month's magazine.
