Calendar
by Mike Ironmonger

When run this application installs iteslf on the icon bar, and clicking on the icon opens the main calendar window. This displays the calendar for a one year period starting with last month. The current date is shown in red and this is updated automatically at midnight. Clicking the menu button over the window produces a menu with two options:

'Goto today' is self explanatory.

'Show control' opens a small window which allows you to adjust the first date displayed in the calendar window. There are two modes of operation for this window:

In 'Scroll' mode clicking Select on an arrow icon will change the month or year appropriately and then update the calendar immediately. Clicking Adjust on an arrow will change the date in the opposite direction.

In 'Goto' mode the OK button becomes operational and the calendar is only updated when you click on this. To allow rapid changes in date, the arrow icons auto-repeat in this mode.

The month and year icons are both writable so you can type in a date by clicking on either icon (if you do this while in 'Scroll' mode, 'Goto' mode is automatically selected). When entering a month you can use upper or lower case and abbreviations, and you can enter a year in the 1900s simply by entering the last two digits. To move between the icons use the cursor up, cursor down, and Return keys as usual.
