Customised Desktop Templates
by Lee Calcraft

These template files enable all windows in the Desktop to go behind the icon bar and filer windows to become unbounded (i.e. they can be moved off the screen). This can be really useful if you have a large window that would normally obscure the icon bar, as now you can click on its Back icon to put it behind the icon bar. They do this by replacing the template files in ROM which are used by the Desktop, but first the Desktop must be set up to use these template files instead of the ones in ROM.

Double-clicking on this application opens up a directory window containing a directory 'Templates'. To use the new template files, copy the 'Templates' directory into the root directory of a disc, and create or alter the Boot sequence on that disc to include the line:
*setWimp$Pathadfs::WorkDisc.$.,DeskFS:
Here, 'WorkDisc' is the name of the disc that the 'Templates' directory is on.
