Wimp Sprite Viewer
by Glynn Clements

Note: This program requires System resources. You must ensure that !System has been 'seen' before running this program.

This program demonstrates the use of the ColourTrans module in producing mode-independent software, i.e. software that can work in any mode.

When run, the program adds an icon to the icon bar. Clicking Menu over this icon displays a menu containing the usual Info and Quit options. Once running, double clicking on a sprite file (or dragging it to the icon bar icon, or into the window if open) results in the file being loaded, and the first sprite in the file is displayed at full size in a window.

The sprite colours are translated to the nearest available colour in the current screen mode, ensuring a close approximation regardless of the screen mode or palette.

Closing the window also closes the sprite file.
