Audio Tape Inlay Editor
by Andrew Thacker

This program allows audio cassette inlay cards to be produced. The main program screen shows the contents of the inlay card, which is split into two halves, each of which is split into three sections: the title, the track list and a notes section.

Clicking Select positions the cursor at the mouse position. Clicking Menu displays a menu allowing inlays to be saved and loaded, the current inlay to be wiped, or the program terminated. Clicking Adjust displays a menu allowing a Help panel to be displayed, or the current inlay printed.

A number of keys are used in the program. Tab displays the main menu (Load, Save, Wipe and Quit); Print displays the secondary menu (Print and Help); * (on the keypad) displays a command window allowing OS commands to be entered, and Return moves the cursor to the beginning of the next line (or the top of the other column if at the bottom).

For the Load and Save options, tape files are expected to be in the directory !Tapes.Tapes, while Print is designed to work with an Epson FX-80 or compatible printer.

The main menu also allows the user to specify whether Dolby noise reduction has been used on either side, and whether it is Dolby B or C. The printed inlay will have this printed at the top of the track list.
