EasyWimp: A Serial Port Status Utility
by Mike Ironmonger

This is an example application created using the EasyWimp system, described in this month's magazine.

When run, the program installs an icon on the icon bar. Clicking on this icon opens a window displaying the serial port status, allowing it to be changed.

Clicking on the arrows in the first two entries allow the Transmit and Receive baud rates to be set, while the following two sets of 'radio' icons allow the word length and number of stop bits to be set. The bottom set of four radio icons and one on/off icon allow the parity to be set. The serial port status is set whenever a change is made.

Clicking Menu over the icon bar icon displays a menu allowing the program to be terminated.
