Hi all - and thank you for downloading IRClient v0.13. Please note the
following points to get the most out of your time:

Please ensure that there is a system variable called 'Inet$HostName' which is
set to be the name of your computer on the net. For example, when I connect
via Exeter University's SLIP lines, my Inet$HostName is set to 'pcslipx'
where x is the line number I'm on - this means that IRClient can ascertain
your IP address - which is needed for the DCC transfers. If you have problems
with this - set Inet$HostName to your IP address, eg 173.144.6.230
This is probably best done in your SlipDial (or similar) script.

The version of DCC (Direct Client to Client) supports DCC SEND and DCC RECEIVE
  - that is, you may allow other people to read, or read other people's files.
This introduces some security related issues - but if you are sensible you
won't come across these. To send a file to somebody, simply drag it onto the
IRClient icon or window. A bow will pop up prompting you for the recipient's
name. Once you have pressed RETURN (or clicked on OK) the recipient will be
asked if he or she wants the file - if they do the file will be transferred
  across.
Similarly, if someone wants to send you a file, a box will pop up allowing you
to drag it to a destination filer window as in a save box. If you don't want
  the file click on cancel.
As DCC is very new to this release I am expecting a few teething problems so
  bear with me.

Please make sure you change the default session or else you will be logged on
to IRC as 'nobody' which is more than likely in use.

Now read the Docs.Bugs file :-(

Enjoy!!!

Matt
