Acorn Developer News 22/10/97 More stuff pertaining to the Beta Release... -------------------------------------------- Just a quick email blast to let you know that we're still isolating compatibility problems between v3.96 of the nested window manager and assorted other software... to assist in tracking down where the problems are, I've uploaded a new archive containing versions of window manager 3.94 for all RISC OS versions >=3.1. You can find the archive as http://www.art.acorn.co.uk/SALES/DEVELOPERS/resource/updates/window394.arc . As the freeze for the patch floppy to go with the CD is tomorrow I know this may be a bit late, but please: If you've submitted a report detailing a fault which occurs with windowmanager 3.96 but not 3.91 (as shipped on the Developer Conference CD), *please* grab a copy of this archive and let me know whether the fault occurs with 3.94. We may not be able to get the fix in place in time for the floppy, but at least we'll be able to get it onto the public ftp and WWW sites sooner rather than later. Your help on this is appreciated.
