OK, so I was clearly somewhat hard of thinking yesterday; the File and URL
modules which were missing from yesterday's uploads have now been
incorporated into the Bookworm distributions. Don't worry if you have
downloaded the 3 Meg version, as you don't need to download it all again;
the 128K version (now a 133K version) has the same changes, so you only need
to plug the modules from this version in according to the note supplied in
the archive.

Just to prove how hard of thinking I was, I even managed to get the URLs
wrong; try

and
http://www.art.acorn.co.uk/SALES/DEVELOPERS/resource/reference/book+userg.arc
instead. Note that !Bookworm is supplied for the purposes of evaluation and
testing *only*; also if you wish to try adding your own HTML to its
repository of documentation, make sure that you don't remove any entries
from the existing hotlist.

Xemplar Launches XDS
--------------------
As many of you are aware, Xemplar Education is launching XDS, its own
Developer Support scheme. Xemplar developers come in two flavours, partners
and associates. Partnership is aimed at those developers whose core business
is to produce products for the UK education market; associate membership
would suit those who wish to stay in touch with what is happening at Xemplar
from a developer point of view.

XDS will be run by Stuart Payne, who has been working with me to reach the
following arrangement; subject to final agreement at senior management level
the Developer Support structure which will be put into place looks like:

Telephone and email support from me

Access to the ART Developer WWW site

Future ART announcements / email missives

Free Clan membership and opportunity to include info in Clan mailings

Rights to purchase products at ART Developer prices

Advance and beta test software releases (by arrangement)

Rights to license and distribute specific binaries (subject to agreement)

Rights to attend appropriate Xemplar Workshops and Conferences at delegate
prices

Product details and links in third-party database on main Acorn site (under
construction)

(other benefits, usually arranged on an individual per-developer basis;
in-house testing etc)

NetStation (yet again)

Still documenting all the necessary bits on how to get apps running and
looking right. It transpires that I'm off to a networking show next week, so
