Help for Wimp2Ctrl v0.26
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
by N. Douglas

Wimp2Ctrl provides extended information and control for Wimp2 tasks. It shows
a window, updated every second, containing information about all Wimp2 tasks
currently running.

Information shown includes the Wimp2 PID (ie; the handle) of the task, its
name, its usage of the processor, the number of threads running in it, the
number of milliseconds it has used since the last time the window was
updated, and the maximum slice it is permitted at any one time.

You can change the maximum slice it is permitted (to either increase or
decrease the proportion of the processor it is allowed) by clicking MENU over
the appropriate task entry. You have a number of preset entries, and also a
writable field to try different values.

Note that the "Kill Task" option does not work at present. Correct calls are
made to the Wimp2 module, but v0.26 of the Wimp2 module does not implement
the call.

PLEASE NOTE: For some unknown reason the patch becomes unstable when
Wimp2Ctrl is loaded ie; do not load in patched applications when Wimp2Ctrl is
running. I wish I knew why this is so I could fix it, but I don't, and I
can't - take it as a RTFM matter and kill Wimp2Ctrl before loading new tasks.
