Variations for Iyonix
---------------------

I've had reports that Variations works on Iyonix and
I have now confirmed that it does, on my own machine. :-)

However, there are a few things you should still note:

1. The !Run file attempts to load CompressJPEG. A 32bit clean version
seems to be supplied in System. FindJComp looks for System:Modules.JCompMod

...Then it looks in ChangeFSI just in case. ;-)

2. I've now updated the Artworks rendering code and if you have AWViewer 1.61
fades shapes and borders which are based on artworks files should render ok.

3. Variations now comes with two versions of "djpeg" and should automatically
choose between 26bit and 32bit versions. However if you are using a RiscPC it
is still recommended that you download and install the "new" shared c library
so that you're running the same code as I am.

At this time the update process is unfortunately not simple, so you probably
shouldn't attempt this unless you are technically competent or have access to
someone who is.

4. Aemulor. As of v0.35 Variations and Aemulor get on together a bit better.

Please note that Aemulor running limits applications to using only 28MB of
memory - it is possible that Variations will want more when editing a large
image.

The best solution is to quit Aemulor (entirely) before running Variations.
As an alternative Variations can be forced to use the same memory management
system as it does on a RiscPC if you change the Variations$MemoryManager
variable in !Variations.!Run to 'Dynamic' instead of 'Auto'.
