Future versions of TopModel (including TopModel professional) include the following major improvements:

- New tools:
     - up to 64 layers for an easy edit of complex scenes.
     - real-time warping of an object around a bezier path.
     - CSG (constructive solid geometry) to allow real-time logic operation on objects (AND, OR, NOT, NAND, NOR) with (probably) analytical result (cutting a surface will produce another surface, not a mesh of polygon to render).
     - Finite Element Material Simulation as a static modellig tool in real-time (eg. choose a plane, choose an object, set the gravity and the plane will be deformed as a cloth to cover it! choose a car, choose a wall, set the speed and the car will crash against it!).
     - support for text.

- New primitives:
     - Blob objects! (calculated also in the modelling environment): every objects can be made a BLOB!
     - NURBS surfaces: the most sophisticated and versatile surfaces technology can now offer!
     - every surface can be a light source.
     - Parametrized Mathematic functions Z = f(X,Y,k1,k2,k3,..kn).


Furthermore, will be available with TopModel:

- Conversion utilities: external filters to import file from Sculpt3D, Imagine (TDDD), 3DStudio, Wavefront, Lightwave, PovRay, etc. Possibility to export to Euclid, DXF,  etc.
- Modelling utilities: various programs to generate 3D mathematic function, shell generators, particles animation, math functions, etc.
- Objects: will be soon available a CDRom full of objects in TopModel format. Please note that there will be also a text file containing a list of objects that can be ordered separately.


TopModel is only the first package of a whole series that allows you to create animations and Ray-trace them.
