There are two sets of files that can be used with Surface.

DataFiles
---------
This directory contains some files that can be loaded (by drag and drop)
into Surface. They will show plots of various simple trigonometric
functions, involving e.g cos, sin, exp. These files have been produced
using 3DFNEdit and so they will also load in to that application, allowing
editing of the function and parameters, and can also be sent for editing
directly from Surface.

H_orbitals
----------

This directory contains two sets of files. There are text data files that
can be loaded in to Surface. They will show plots of various H atom atomic
orbital diagrams.

These data files were actually produced using simple Basic programs, which
are also supplied within this directory. For this reason the data files
can not be loaded in to 3DFNEdit, or passed for editing from Surface.

The Basic programs themselves can be edited. Inspecting the programs will
also give information on how you can create other datafiles in your own
programs. It is important to follow the format of the data files, otherwise
Surface will refuse to load them.

Contact the author, Chris Johnson, if you need more information on the use
of Surface and 3DFNEdit, or on creating your own data files.
