Differences between the PD and non-PD versions of
!CloseUp:

The non-PD is functionally equivalent to the PD
version except:

There is an option "Follow caret" on the main menu,
which when selected (which is the default) causes
the close-up area to be that of the caret, instead
of the pointer position.

If the caret is positioned more than 1000 OS units
outside the screen then it is deemed to be turned
off (this happens inside some applications such as
Impression, which gain the caret off-screen to
have hot-keys in dialogue boxes).

The cross-hairs in the CloseUp window now show the
the pointer position, and not the caret/pointer
position. This means that when the caret is on and
the pointer is in the region of the caret, then a
cross-hair will appear within the CloseUp window.

The CloseUp window no longer gets confused when it
is not the top window in the stack.

Clicking the CloseUp with ADJUST now causes the
caret to be disowned by everyone. This allows the
key-cursor operation to continue (it is very
difficult to lose the caret otherwise).
