Extracting the application
==========================

The application !Snego is contained in the inner archive sneg-i/zip in this
directory. The reason for this hierarchical structure is explained below in
the section 'Authentication'.

Distribution site
=================

The primary distribution site for this software is

http://web.bham.ac.uk/N.M.Queen/pgp/acorn.html

and copies obtained from any other source should be considered valid only if
the archive is byte-identical to the one obtained from that site.

Authentication
==============

If you are confident that you have obtained a valid copy of this software,
you may ignore this section.

Assuming that you know how to use PGP, you can use it to check that your
copy of the inner archive has not been corrupted or altered in any way. For
this purpose, a detached signature of the author, Nat Queen, is included in
this directory as the file sig/asc. If this signature does not validate the
archive, you should assume that your copy is corrupt.

The appropriate public key must be on your keyring in order to check the
signature. This public key can be downloaded from the distribution site or
from the PGP key servers. For details on checking detached signatures,
consult the PGP documents.

PGP can be obtained from the URL given above.
